How It All Started

What started as a shared love for racquet sports quickly turned into a vision to create something special for the community.

Friends and founders Josh Heller and Ted Dahmus combined decades of experience in sports, business, and hospitality to bring The Pickle Mill to life — a welcoming, one-court indoor pickleball suite designed for play, connection, and fun.

We are changing the game of pickleball...
to make it even better.

Our Mission

How We're Changing Things

At The Pickle Mill, our mission is to grow the game of pickleball in Cincinnati by creating an inclusive, energizing space where everyone feels welcome — from first-time players to seasoned competitors.

We believe pickleball is more than just a sport; it’s a way to connect people, encourage healthy living, and build lasting friendships. That’s why we’ve designed The Pickle Mill to be a community hub — offering year-round indoor play, expert instruction, social events, and a place where fun and fitness meet.

Our goal is simple: to provide the best indoor pickleball experience in the Loveland–Madeira area through quality courts, professional coaching, and a supportive atmosphere that celebrates every point, laugh, and victory.

Play. Connect. Compete.

With plush lounge seating, big-screen TVs, a pool table, and a relaxed social vibe, The Pickle Mill is more than just a place to play — it’s a place to unwind, compete, and connect with friends.

We are excited to meet you!

Built for year-round play, The Pickle Mill features state-of-the-art indoor courts, professional instruction, leagues, events, and a vibrant community of pickleball enthusiasts – all under one roof.

Whether you’re stepping onto the court for the first time or training to win your next tournament, you’ll find a supportive environment that’s all about fun, fitness, and friendship.

Josh and Ted are thrilled to open their doors and share their passion for pickleball with the community they call home.
